Ayia Napa Beaches
Napa’s most famous beach, Nissi Bay is the perfect place to start our list. This beach has it all, white sandy shores and sparkling blue seas as well as a lively atmosphere accompanied by the hottest sounds of the summer. We can’t think of a better place to sit with a refreshing cocktail bought from one of the many beach bars in hand! This beach does get busy at the height of the summer season, but for good reason – it’s truly the best of the best.
If you’d rather spend your days somewhere a little quieter while you recharge for your big night out, Glyki Nero Beach is ideal. Translated as ‘Sweet Water’, this picturesque beach is just a stone’s throw from Ayia Napa’s famous ‘Lover’s Bridge’ and the unmissable Ayia Napa caves making it the perfect spot for a day away from it all. There are plenty of bars and restaurants as well as water sports on offer, everything you could want to enjoy whilst soaking up the Cyprus sun is right at your fingertips.
Malta Beaches
The newest party hard destination, Malta is a naturally breathtaking Island with hundreds of gorgeous beaches. Malta has 11 Blue Flag accredited beaches, this means they’re recognised for the quality of their sand, water, cleanliness and marine life – you couldn’t ask for much more than that! Whether you prefer white sand, coves or rocky pools, Malta has the beach to suit you. If you’re feeling adventurous there’s plenty of water activities to try out, from scuba diving and snorkeling to even turtle spotting. The hub of Malta’s nightlife scene is Paceville so why not try spending your days tanning at St.George’s Bay, a sandy, beautiful beach just moments from the popular resort.
For something a little bit different try out Fond Ghadir, still nearby Paceville, this is a rocky beach with unique Victorian swimming pools carved out of the coastal rocks. A real instagram location, this distinctive beach is totally worth a visit. If you have a bit more time taking a boat trip round the island is a great way to visit some of the more secret swimming spots. Try a day trip to sister island, Gozo, including a stop off at the infamous Blue Lagoon, this is a must see for its electric blue sea and stunning natural scenery.
Ibiza Beaches
If you’re feeling adventurous, Playa d’en Bossa beach is the perfect spot – hosting a whole load of fun activities from jet skiing and water sports. Grab a few friends and take out a pedalo out to sea to get a whole new perspective on the Ibiza scenery. Adorned with bars, beach lounges and restaurants there’s plenty to keep you entertained along this stunning stretch of sand.
And how about Ibizia’s best (not so) secret beach spot, Cala Saladeta beach. Just 15 minutes from San Antonio, once you have navigated your way downhill through the pinewood forest you will have arrived at a jewel of Ibiza’s coast line. Cala Saladeta is an idyllic cove with crystal clear waters and white sand, enclosed by golden rocks and tree covered hills. Cala Saladeta is unbeatable when it comes to a simple stunning secluded beach spot.
Kavos Beaches
Arkoudilas Beach is all the best bits of the stunning Greek Island Corfu all wrapped up into one! Surrounded by cliff side and rolling hills, this long stretch of white sand set into a golden cove is a must visit beach destination. A fifteen minute drive from the main strip, this popular spot over the summer season is the ideal location to grab a sunbed, a parasol, a cold cocktail and relax with your mates over the afternoon. If your hangover is standing in the way of a trip in the car, head to the beach behind Quayside Village and Atlantis for a stunning beach right on your doorstep.
Magaluf Beaches
Playa de Magaluf, the main beach in Magaluf, has it all. White sand and beautiful blue water matched with a lively atmosphere and ample opportunities for beach activities such as pedal boats, paragliding or jet skiing makes this the perfect spot to visit in between your events.
Malia Beaches
Malia Main Beach, known as Paralia locally, is the beach closest to the Malia strip. Just seconds from the hotels, bars and clubs in Malia this is the perfect beach to visit in your down time. This has everything you’d expect from a Cretian beach, white sand, blue seas and plenty of loungers for you to grab.
Potamos Beach is a popular Malia destination, but the large expanse of golden sand set against crystal clear waters means there is plenty of room for everyone on this beach. Not only uniquely beautiful with striking rock formations, the beach is host to many delicious restaurants and vibrant beach bars, we couldn’t ask for more! If you’re still not convinced then check out our News & Guides for Malia to see all it has to offer.
Sunny Beach Beaches
As the name indicates, Sunny Beach is all out it’s coast line – the beach was a revered beauty spot before the town emerged and has grown to be known as one of the best beaches in Europe. The largest holiday resort on the Black Sea Coast, Sunny Beach is a well established tourist spot so it’s suited to all holiday makers, no matter what their needs are. At Sunny Beach you will never be far from lively bars, delicious food, cooling cocktails all situated right on the beach front. Don’t let the name the Black Sea fool you, the water is sparkling blue, you won’t be able to resist grabbing an inflatable from one of the local shops and going for a splash around!
Zante Beaches
It would be impossible to write this list without Navagio (Shipwreck Bay) one of the most famous and best beaches in all of Europe. This beach is simply stunning, a little slice of paradise with its quintessential white sand and blue sea, surrounded by typically Grecian white cliffs. The wreckage of an illegal cigarette cargo ship can still be found on the beach, making this spot totally unique and unmissable – the perfect addition to any holiday Instagram feed. You can only reach this beach via boat but it’s certainly worth the journey.
If you’re looking to spend more time partying than relaxing then you cannot miss Laganas Beach. This is the ultimate party beach in Zante, a favourite of all holiday makers looking for a good time. Bars, restaurants, shops, beach clubs and bars, Laganas Beach has it all. There are as many water sports on offer as cocktails so there’s something for everyone, there’s no better place for you and your friends to count down the hours until your next evening event.
