When to visit Ayia Napa

Weather
Cyprus has around 340 days of sunshine a year, so blue skies are guaranteed, and temperatures pick up as early as April. During the main summer months (June, July and August), temperatures are over 30ºC and at times will be creeping towards 40ºC. Even the nights are quite warm – seeing people out at night in just shorts and t-shirts reminds us of that Tom Jones song, it’s not unusual.

In the day make sure you use sun cream and drink lots of water, especially if you’re going to be drinking.
If you want air-con for your room most hotels will have an additional cash charge which you can pay at reception. We recommend keeping it on throughout the day to cool your room and turning it off right before you sleep.
